Summer is here and the weather is stunning. The late nights and clear skies make for fantastic sunset views here at The Penellen and we know how we like to spend our evenings but what about the rest of the day? With many outdoor events and activities now open in the region there’s plenty of options available for anybody looking to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Beach Lovers

The Penellen and Gold Self Catering Holiday Cottages are in the perfect location for beach lovers. Just 150 yards from the golden sands of Hayle Beach stretching all the way to Godrevy Lighthouse.
Just a short drive away is St Ives town with Porthgwidden Beach, probably the most popular beach location for visitors to St Ives, just a short walk from the Town Centre. It’s still very popular with families as it’s has a east facing beach and is classed as safe for swimming.
