Terms and Conditions

1. BOOKING:

Bookings made more than eight weeks in advance require a third deposit. THE BALANCE OF MONIES ARE DUE EIGHT WEEKS BEFORE THE HOLIDAY COMMENCES.

2. BALANCE PAYMENT:

On confirmation of the booking the balance is due eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday (see section 2a. below). We will endeavour to send you a reminder around the time your balance is due – the balance due date is on the booking form.

2a. DEFAULT OF PAYMENTS

Any balance not received on or by the due date is in default of payment. We reserve the right to terminate your booking and you will loose any deposits made.

3. METHOD OF PAYMENT:

Payments may be made by:

- Cheques made payable to “GOLDS” (a charge of £25.00 will be made for dishonoured cheques).

- Credit or debit card over the phone.

- Sagepay, online booking.

4. PRICE CHANGES:

Golds Group of Companies reserve the right to amend prices quoted in the brochure due to errors or omissions

5. DURATION AND TIME OF LETTINGS:

Lettings commence from 16:00 hrs (4pm) on the first day of the tenancy and ends at 09:00 hrs (9am) the last day of the tenancy.

6. KEY COLLECTION:

Keys are available for collection from 16:00 hrs on the day of your arrival. Details will be provided prior to your arrival date.

7. CANCELLATION

Cancellations must firstly be advised by telephone to Golds Group of Companies followed by written confirmation within seven days. Golds Group of Companies will use their best endeavours to secure another booking on the property for the same term and if possible for the same charge but reserve the right to negotiate. Any refund will made less a £195.00 administration charge PER week booked. If the property has not been re-let the full hire charge will still become due eight weeks before your holiday commences.

8. THE TENANT AGREES:

a) to keep and leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy state, returning all furniture to the place in which it was found on entry and removing all rubbish from the premises. We reserve the right to charge an additional £50.00 where the tenant has not left the property in a satisfactory condition.

b) to pay for any breakages and damage.

c) not to cause a nuisance to the neighbours

d) to allow the owner, his servants or agents access at all times, with or without consent

e) not exceed the total number of people it sleeps as detailed in the property description

f) not to put any nappies or sanitary items down the toilets as this causes a blockage. Any blockages due to this will be charged to the tenant.

9. NON AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION

If due to any occurrence beyond the control of the owner the accommodation is not available as booked, e.g. fire, flood, all monies paid will be refunded in full but the owner will be under no further liability towards the hirer.

10. OWNERS LIABILITY

The owner will NOT be held liable for any disruptions or nuisance out of his control, this includes, but is not limited to:-

a) Building works, road works, sewer works, or any works of any kind carried out in the adjacent and local area.

b) Electricity power cuts, etc.

c) Any cars parked are at the tenants own risk, we will take no responsibility for the vehicle or its contents.

11. LINEN

Bed linen and towels are supplied.
