Falmouth Food Festival Returns for a Bank Holiday Weekend

Falmouth is set to welcome food lovers, families and visitors from across Cornwall this May as the Falmouth Food Festival returns for a four-day celebration over the late May Bank Holiday weekend.

Taking place from Friday 22 May to Monday 25 May 2026, the festival will be held at Church Street Car Park on Falmouth’s waterfront, bringing together a vibrant mix of local food vendors, producers, artisans, live music and creative entertainment. The event is free to attend, making it an ideal day out for anyone looking to enjoy the very best of Cornwall’s food and drink scene by the sea.

Described as more than an ordinary food festival, the event promises four days of food, art, music and culture in the heart of one of Cornwall’s most popular coastal towns. Visitors can expect a relaxed waterfront atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to sample Cornish street food, sweet treats, local drinks and produce from independent makers.

The festival has quickly become a standout event in Falmouth’s spring calendar, offering a chance to enjoy the town’s creative energy while supporting local businesses and food producers. With its harbour setting, live entertainment and wide range of food options, it is expected to attract both local residents and visitors making the most of the Bank Holiday weekend.

As the event takes place in Church Street Car Park, visitors travelling into Falmouth are encouraged to plan ahead, particularly as Cornwall Council has confirmed the car park will be closed from 20 May to 26 May for the festival.

Whether you are heading along for lunch by the water, an evening of live music, or a full Bank Holiday day out with friends and family, Falmouth Food Festival offers a lively taste of Cornwall’s growing food and drink culture.
